Dr Marty McDonald

Dr. Marty McDonald serves as the CEO and owner of Immediate Care, steering the organization with a vision rooted in extensive medical experience and a deep commitment to healthcare. His journey into medicine was preceded by a notable 14-year tenure as a paramedic, laying a solid foundation for his passion for patient care.

Dr. McDonald pursued higher education at The University of Alabama in Birmingham, where he achieved degrees in Biology and Chemistry, setting the stage for his future in the medical field. His academic journey continued at The University of Medicine and Bio-medical Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri, where he honed his skills and knowledge in medicine.

Upon completing his medical degree, Dr. McDonald underwent residency training at The University of South Alabama, specializing in Internal Medicine, a field in which he is board-certified. Since 2001, he has been a practicing physician in Mobile, Alabama, where he has dedicated himself to serving the local community with exceptional medical care.

Outside the clinic and hospital, Dr. McDonald finds solace and joy in fishing, reading, and spending quality time with his family and beloved dog. His personal interests reflect his well-rounded character and his commitment to a balanced life, both professionally and personally.
